(POETRY) Reminiscence

Shiny Shoes, you stomp on me
A soul, a helpless road
Your heart a heavy burden
My back a strongman's load

Cursive Hands, you draw me well
In bed near death once over
My heart on canvas midnight black
My dove a wretched lover

Cherry Smile, you dance with me
Near fire and mighty cliffs
I sold my ships to grapple
Your deadly siren's kiss

Curly Hair, you blinded me
My eyes I cannot give
You want to learn my story
I feel I have not lived

(POETRY) Red Eyes

Red Eyes, come closer near
I see what they cannot
You blinded them with grace
Their view- your malice blot

You lift your legs and dance
Like ashen rose near wildfire
They light the limbs and raze
To burn the child they sire

Oh shed a tear and cry
And damn the world once over
To death and blackened Hell
One deafened note all over

Now press your lungs and sing
Give birth to joyous tones
Of how you love the chaos
And fight the world alone

You breathe and give me life
Your vice is all but mine
Your lips and smile are toxic
But toxic like red wine

You give me strength to stand
And look upon the mirror
I dream upon a foggy hill
With you the haze grows clearer

I wish the world to glare at me
And beat me to the ground
I hope the wind shall guide my way
And lead me to your sound

Red Eyes, your words are soft
And I shall know your name
They never look behind the mask
You're smiling all the same

(POETRY) Old Elixir

When actions roll and all is joy
When life is dull and praise a toy
When eatings done for eatings sake
When easy come and easy take

There is a hope for one and all
When daggers poke and life' a stall
Come one come soon, and have a beer
That one did brew with blood and tear

An ale of tread, it dims the pain
Get drunk on sweat, and praise the rain
'Cause rain is snow with leather shine
Work hard to down, the sweaty wine

A drink so swell, it breaks the clock
Damn beds to hell, come work, we knock
A broken chair, we come to fix'er
We sing of men, the Old Elixir

(POETRY) There’s a hell so chaotic

There's a hell so chaotic
It burns at your soul
A want of coherence
A void full of holes

To reach for your body
The crisis of being
The ultimate failure
To think too much thinking

You need to stay steady
But turn off your head
Close off your perception
To that bloody red

For 'tis the sole road
That trekking is cozy
Think not of the dying
But smelling the rosy

(POETRY) The Absurd

To be an unbeing
The slashing of wrists
A finale unclever
Yet I see no shame

A life full of choices
Yet outcome unwanted?
Take charge of one's life
Don't hang up the curtains

To take away life
Life that's your own
Decision ungiven
Yet real as it gets

Crime unchargable
Life creeps and taunts
The final rebellion
An end to the anguish

Simply an ending
The galaxy stands
You're merely a nothing
In the ocean of stillness

But if life provides
Tangible meaning
Hold and grab and swing
Do not give slack

Jump high for it
Do not be defeated
The difference in meaning
It's called the Absurd

(POETRY) An ending so clever

Songs without singers
They sit on the shelves
Tomes of heroics
Stocked by li'l elves

A graveyard of thoughts
An old mausoleum
Paper like grain flakes
And no eyes to see them

A pity- a shame
An intellect crime
Content so wasted
They're battered by time

Years spent in writing
A lifelong endeavor
A bonfire of vowels
An ending so clever

(POETRY) Time is the railway

Time is the railway
Onto the next day
Pushed on the infinite
In perception it lay

A useless ambition
To wind back the clock
'Tis here for the long run
To tease and to mock

It takes back your skin
Your ears and your eyes
It looks at your journal
It sees through your lies

Single minded machine
It shovels the graves
It knows not of bias
It slaughters in waves

(POETRY) Our fatal flaw

With borrowed air, the trumpets blast
Doth killed the foe, vic'tree at last
But now we sit and stand and think
With thought- our flags and arrows shrink

Our fatal flaw- I'll tell you now
We rack our brains- too shamed to bow
To think of thoughts- you'll come to see
Food for fools- futility

The wondrous world- too large to grasp
Our tiny brains- we watch and gasp
Living, breathing- 'tis all we need
Eat the food and spread your seed

You see I share- in this new fault
The end to all- a bath in salt
You think too much- it's plain to see
Kill the thought- take flight, be free-

(POETRY) Farmer Frick

A tune so quaint
It tame the horses
It drove the day
In all its courses

A hat so tall
It give them shade
They gathered 'round
They ain't afraid

A smile so straight
It point the way
Down the foothills-
Fields of hay

A laugh so true
It makes ya sick
All adored him
That Farmer Frick
